One request in and one decision out
Most moderation APIs stop at a score. Ours ends with a decision you can act on and explain.

Submit an item
Post text, an image URL, a video URL, a profile or a listing with your own item ID, the user ID and the market.

Receive scores
The response carries scores per policy category and the action your thresholds produce: approve, reject or review.
- 3.
Human review when needed
Items in the review band go to the queue in the Platform, worked by your team, our workforce, or both.
- 4.
Receive the final decision
A webhook delivers the decision, the policy section, the reviewer type (automatic or human) and the time to decision.

Image moderation API with human confirmation
Images are scored for nudity, sexual content, violence, weapons, drugs, hate symbols, self harm, text in image and quality. Uncertain images go to a reviewer who sees them blurred and in grayscale first. Read more on image moderation and NSFW detection.
Request and response
The request names the item, its type, the content and your references. The response returns scores, the action from your thresholds and a review flag when a person will decide.
Usage included in each plan
API calls count toward the items a month in your plan: 100,000 on Starter, 1,000,000 on Growth and 5,000,000 on Scale. The dashboard shows usage against the limit, and you choose a higher plan when you need more.
